The single-engine Cheetah helicopter was piloted by on Indian and one Royal Bhutanese Army pilots that are feared dead after the crash.
"The helicopter lost radio and visual contact soon after 1 p.m. It was en route from Khirmu (Arunanchal Pradesh) to Yongfulla on duty”, Indian Army spokesperson Col. Aman Anand said.
According to the army, the cause of the crash was foggy weather.
Search and rescue operations have promptly been launched by the Indian Air Force.
