A major fire broke out at a 22-storey commercial building in Peninsula Park, in India's financial capital Mumbai. The building is opposite Yash Raj Film Studios in Mumbai’s Andheri district.
Initial information suggested that four firefighters have rescued at least 13 people so far, with several others remaining stranded in the high rise commercial complex.
Around 40-50 people stranded on the upper floors of Peninsula Business park, Andheri in a level 2 fire were evacuated safely by our Firemen. The working fire system of Bldg along with 1 Fire Fighting Jet helped to extinguish the fire in the shortest time. No injuries reported. pic.twitter.com/odPE0XpmY1
