Gustavo, a one-year-old Corgi living his best life in Blacksburg, Virginia, is killing the Halloween costume game by sporting none other than a Wonder Bread wrapper, thus embodying one of the US’ first pre-sliced loaves.

According to a statement obtained by video licensor ViralHog, Gustavo’s mom picked the young pup’s costume after students at nearby Virginia Tech informed her that the fluffball resembled an “adorable loaf of bread.”

Good ol’ Gus is here to slay Halloween 2019, folks.
