On Saturday, South Carolina Democrats head to polls to cast their votes in the first-in-the-South primary, the last primary before Super Tuesday.
The primary is deemed to be pivotal for some candidates, including former vice president Joe Biden, who hopes to secure his first victory after disappointing results in Iowa, New Hampshire and Nevada, while challenging the current front runner, Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders.
Sanders, who has been enjoying a streak of wins, is set to expand his base in the South.
Massachusetts Senator Elizabeth Warren, Minnesota Senator Amy Klobuchar, financial activist Tom Steyer and ex-mayor Pete Buttigieg are also participating in the primary.
Ex-New York City Mayor Mike Bloomberg is not on the ballot, after his campaign skipped the first four primaries.
