In a chilling moment, a great black-backed gull (Larus marinus) was captured on camera swallowing a whole rabbit after plucking it from its burrow. At first it looked like the gull had bitten more than it could chew, but it effortlessly gulped down the furry animal in several large gulps.
The incident was caught on camera from western Wales’s Skomer Island, United Kingdom.
