Earlier this month, the National Interest Market (MIN) Rungis complex south of Paris was transformed into a temporary mortuary for coronavirus victims.

A new morgue has opened in Wissous, a town next to Paris-Orly airport, south of the French capital, to deal with the coronavirus victims. The mortuary has the capacity to accommodate 450 coffins.

France has reported 107,778 coronavirus cases and 17,899 deaths as of 18 April 9:00 am CEST, according to the World Health Organisation.
