Baby on Board: Elephant on Guard Blocks Traffic to Let Little One Cross Road - Video
12:16 GMT 10.06.2020 (Updated: 12:52 GMT 05.08.2022) New Delhi (Sputnik): A motorcade on commute showcased the remarkably well-coordinated road-safety skills of a family of pachyderms. The elephant on guard stared right at drivers’ to help the herd cross the road but maintained a cool demeanour by refraining from violent behaviour.
A little calf was accompanying the herd when traffic was brought to a standstill as motorists halted to marvel at the sight. The video, going viral on Twitter shows, a jumbo giant blocking the road as other elephants along with a little calf proceeded to cross the road.
Elephants often traverse roadways while taking long walks in search of food, water, and better places.
