An 18-year-old man has been charged with the murder of sisters Bibaa Henry and Nicole Smallman.
The sisters were stabbed to death in the early hours of Saturday, 6 June, at Fryent Park in Wembley, north west London, where they had spent the evening with a group of friends celebrating Ms Henry’s 46th birthday.
Police were called to the park just after 1pm on Sunday 7 June after the women's bodies were found.
The pair were pronounced dead at the scene and results of a post-mortem examination showed the women both died from stab wounds.
Danyal Hussein, 18, from Blackheath in south London, was arrested on Wednesday, 1 July, and has been charged with killing both women and possession of an offensive weapon. He is due to appear at Westminster Magistrates' Court on Thursday, 2 July.
2 Metropolitan Police officers were tasked to guard the bodies of sisters, Bibaa Henry,46, and Nicole Smallman,27, who were stabbed to death in a Wembley park.

Detective Chief Inspector Harding said a group of forensic officers had examined the park over the last few weeks and carried out fingertip searches at the crime scene. He said this work had been completed but smaller searches in outer parks will continue.
The Metropolitan Police have appealed for the public to come forward with any information relating to the case.
Last week two police officers were arrested after allegedly taking “inappropriate” photos of the murder scene and have been suspended from duty.
