While the deadly coronavirus pandemic is refusing to give up ground as nations are anticipating a possible second wave of COVID-19, life is still going on despite the crisis.

While countries are easing their lockdown measures and restarting their economies, two events have truly attracted the attention of the international community.

The first was the adoption of the Hong Kong Security Law and the second was the referendum on constitutional amendments in Russia.
