The 20-year-old son of New Jersey Federal Judge Esther Salas was killed in a home attack on Sunday, as her husband, defence lawyer Mark Anderlm was injured, AP reported, citing a chief district judge.
The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) confirmed the shooting incident in the Salas home, and announced that an investigation had been launched, looking for one subject.
The gunman posed as a delivery driver, according to an unnamed law enforcement source, cited by AP. It is also reported that the judge was in the basement of the house during the attack, and noted that her husband is recovering from recent surgery.

Francis 'Mac' Womack, the mayor of North Brunswick, New Jersey, said that the judge's son, a freshman at Catholic University, "was shot in the heart", cited by ABC News.
