Footage shared on YouTube captures Penny, a 2-year-old Goldendoodle, taking a few licks of the frozen treat before sibling Dug, a 7-year-old golden retriever, comes in for the kill, immediately gobbling up the entire ice cream cone.
“We stopped at McDonald's and I wanted to give them a nice summer treat since it is so hot in Florida,” their attentive owner wrote in a statement to Viral Hog. “Penny is patient and shares. Dug does not. Dug is in remission from cancer (mass cell tumors in 2019) so I try to spoil him often.”
