Former US Vice President Joe Biden is the presumptive presidential nominee for the convention and is expected to accept the party‘s presidential nomination during an address from Delaware on Thursday night.
The third day of the convention saw Senator Kamala Harris' official nomination as his vice presidential running mate. Harris is a former California attorney general who dropped out of the primary race early on.

Biden's children Ashley and Hunter Biden spoke at the Democratic National Convention in support of their father.
Trump's personal attorney Rudy Giuliani took a shot at Hunter Biden over controversial investments made in China.
"Hunter Biden is speaking at the DNC tonight," Giuliani said via Twitter. "I wonder if his speech was made in China like his money?"
Hunter Biden is accused of receiving major investments from China in exchange for political influence from his father who was then-US vice president.
Billionaire and former New York City Mayor Mike Bloomberg has criticized Donald Trump at the Democratic National Convention, claiming that the president's thesis that he is a good businessman holds no water.
“He drove his companies into bankruptcy six times — always leaving behind customers and contractors who were cheated and swindled and stopped doing business with him,” Bloomberg claimed.
