The Kremlin denied reports of the allegedly "missed" call of Russian President Vladimir Putin to his US counterpart Donald Trump: it is technically impossible, Russian presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov said.

"No. It is technically impossible to miss a call, which is agreed upon in advance," Peskov said, commenting on the words of the former head of the UK's Teresa May administration Nick Timothy, who said that several years ago Donald Trump "missed" Putin's call and was very dissatisfied.

Earlier, Timothy said that in 2017, during an official meeting with the British delegation at the White House, someone mentioned that Putin had recently called the American leader, after which Trump began yelling at his former national security adviser Michael Flynn for not informing him about the call.

According to the former official, after that, Trump said: "If Putin wants to talk, just put him in touch with me."
