The hearing to decide whether Assange should be extradited to the United States, where he could face a maximum sentence of 175 years in prison, resumed on Monday after six months of delay due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Live outside the Old Bailey Central Criminal Court in London on the second day of the Julian Assange extradition hearing.

Assange was arrested in London in April and sentenced to 50 weeks in prison for jumping bail back in 2012, when he took refuge inside the Ecuadorian embassy in the UK capital to avoid extradition to Sweden, where he faced sexual assault charges, and possible extradition to the United States.
