We all know what it's like to have a craving for one's favourite food. We also know that begging for a treat rarely works - and that goes for pets (and wild animals) as much as for people. However, every now and again the demand is just irresistible.
A video posted on Instagram this month shows a keeper at an aquarium feeding the seals.
But one of the seals is too impatient to wait its turn and jumps out of the water, landing on its tummy at the pool margin. It then starts opening and closing its mouth very fast, producing strange noises which can only be interpreted as an imperious demand for food.
Luckily the keeper is feeling benevolent and after only seconds, the seal receives its heart's desire.
