In this case, pups might become angry at us and nobody will be able to protect us, except for other canines.
This needy golden retriever wants some head pats, but when the human owner gets distracted, the doggo becomes very angry and starts barking in order to draw the person’s attention. But it seems like another retriever wants to be patted on the head too, so it won't allow its friend to start a hullabaloo and protects the human from all the barking.
