Disgrace-Off
23:48 GMT 30.09.2020 (Updated: 23:55 GMT 30.09.2020) The much-anticipated debate on Tuesday between incumbent US President Donald Trump and his Democratic challenger, former Vice President Joe Biden, left most audiences shocked, with some labeling it the worst presidential debate in American history.
Both Trump and Biden acted like little kids on the stage in Cleveland, Ohio, bickering back and forth and repeatedly talking over one another.
During the 90-minute debate, Trump often bumped heads with Fox News host Chris Wallace, who moderated the contest but struggled all the while to keep it from going off the rails.
On Wednesday, Biden criticized Trump’s debate performance the night before, calling it a “national embarrassment.”
With two more presidential debates to go before Election Day, is Tuesday’s event an aberration or the beginning of a woeful pattern?
