"IDF fighter jets and aircraft recently attacked Hamas terrorist targets in the Gaza Strip," The IDF tweeted at 2:23 a.m. local time on Friday. "During the attack, a site for the production of weapons and underground infrastructure of the terrorist organization Hamas was attacked."
Early reports from the area have detailed that an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) of the IDF conducted an airstrike east of central Gaza early Friday morning.
A strike was also conducted on Nuseirat Camp, located in central Gaza's Deir al Balah. Injuries have been reported in relation to the Nuseirat airstrike.
Additionally, aircraft operated by the IAF targeted an area east of the southern Gazan city of Khan Younis. The open area, presumed to be the underground structure referenced by the IDF, was struck at least twice by Israeli forces.

The IAF jet launched at least two missiles on Hamas' Arin site in Nuseirat. Three strikes were conducted by Israeli forces in the southern Gazan town of Al-Fukhari.
A single strike was carried out east of Al-Qarara.
The IDF claimed the strikes were performed as a response to the two rockets fired from the Gaza Strip toward Israel late Thursday night.

"The IDF takes all terrorist activity against Israeli territory very seriously and is prepared and ready to act as much as necessary against attempts to harm Israeli citizens and their sovereignty," the IDF wrote Friday morning. "The terrorist organization Hamas bears responsibility for what is happening in and out of the Gaza Strip, and will bear the consequences of terrorist acts against Israeli citizens."
