Lava, a cuddly border collie from Calgary in Alberta, Canada, recently demonstrated that dogs also enjoy watching the ins and outs involved in a game of pool - even if it means occasionally having to duck from the balls.

Video captured by Katerina Jansen, Lava’s mom, shows the silly pup running around the table as Jansen’s husband Chris expertly knocks each ball into a pocket.

“[Lava] wishes the table was a little shorter,” the pup’s mom commented to video licensor Storyful.

Watch out, folks, Lava might be the next pool champion.
