Mass demonstrations have been ongoing in Yerevan since the signing of a ceasefire deal between Armenia and Azerbaijan, brokered by Moscow. Under the agreement, Baku took control over the city of Shushi and vast territories in the self-proclaimed Nagorno-Karabakh Republic, while Russian peacekeepers were deployed to the area to secure the accord.

Sputnik is live from Yerevan, where thousands of people have taken to the streets to protest against Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan. On Tuesday, the opposition urged him to step down and set a deadline for him, but the politician ignored the demand. At least 90 protesters were detained by police.
