Self-producing girl idols (G)-idle dropped a new album and amazed fans in thir new MV “HWAA” with their visuals released along with the rest of the album under the name “I burn”.
Leader Soyeon wrote the lyrics and co-composed the lead track ”HWAA'' to signify the cold feeling of breaking up. The atmosphere of the MV expresses this feeling with the help of winter themed artwork and by adding a light sense of melancholy to the oriental arrangement.
#HWAAoutNOW - a hashtag related to the group and its lighting speed release, topped worldwide trends and proved the power of (G)-idle's music, both domestically and internationally. The group gained an impressive fanbase, named Neverland, for their strong presentation, undeniable talent in producing music and writing lyrics as well as ability to break female idol stereotypes, which are very common in the Korean music industry.
