What's Up? Elephant Seal Pup Says Hi to Cameraman as He Films Penguins
17:36 GMT 24.01.2021 (Updated: 17:40 GMT 24.01.2021) Filmmakers who travel the globe to capture stunning images of wildlife always need to be on their toes, especially when curious seal pups drop by to see what's going on.
This video shows prominent wildlife filmmaker Bertie Gregory sitting on the shore of the South Sandwich Islands filming king penguins, when a curious elephant seal pup shuffles up to him.
Probably accustomed to such encounters, Gregory keeps his calm and kindly explains to the pup why it shouldn't come too close to the camera.
