Bahrain's security services have foiled a plan by terrorists to bomb two ATMs, the kingdom's interior ministry said on Saturday.
"The concerned security authorities in cooperation with the National Security Agency foiled two terrorist plots of blasting two ATMs of a national bank in Nuaim and Jidhafs areas in the Capital Governorate", the ministry's statement read.
The bombs had been planted at the locations earlier this morning at different times, the ministry said. The police referred the case to public prosecutors after conducting a number of arrests.
