The German Bayern Munich football club won the FIFA World Cup 2020 in the final game against the Mexican Tigres, with a 1:0 score on Thursday.

The match was hosted in Qatar’s Al Rayyan. Munich's defender Benjamin Pavar scored a goal in the 59th minute. The German team received the title of FIFA champions for the second time in their history.

Munich is the most awarded professional football club in Germany, with 30 league titles and 20 German Cups, as well as 6 victories in the Champions League. At the end of 2013, the team became the first German club to win the Club World Cup trophy.
