The intranasal vaccine that is currently under development will not cause side effects such as fever and headache, the head of the institute assured.

"Even those minor side effects that are now present, such as headaches and, possibly, increases in body temperature, will obviously be absent in case of intranasal injection, as it is applied topically and it cannot cause systemic reactions in the form of fever", Gintsburg explained.
