According to Somalian authorities, at least ten people are dead as the result of a suicide bombing in the capital city Mogadishu. The blast occurred in a restaurant in the Shangani District.
At first, police reported that, not including the suicide bomber, there had been five fatalities. But Information Ministry spokesman Ismail Mukhtar Omar later told the press that 10 people are dead, with more wounded.
The Al-Shabaab group (a part of the al-Qaeda* terrorist organisation) - which has launched attacks in the country - has not claimed responsibility for this assault as yet.
