A video was shared on YouTube recently showing a water hen being chased by a snake in a river in southern Brazil.
The person who made the video wrote that she was walking with her boyfriend and feeding the fish and waterhens when they suddenly saw the snake chasing one of the birds.
The hen obviously got a massive fright when it realised it was being pursued by the slithering reptile, which eventually slid out of sight underwater.
