The Bangtan Boys label did not confirm media reports that the members of the K-pop phenomena will enlist together again in 2022.

Responding to the recently released reports that members of the worldwide famous K-pop boy band BTS may enlist together in the first half of 2022, group managing agency Big Hit Music briefly stated that they do not have more information that the artists themselves have already provided.

On 21st of April, X-Sports News reported citing a leading investment & securities analyst, Yoo Sung-man, that the reason for the band to carry out their mandatory military service all together at once is to minimize a loss of cash income revenue. Considering the possibility of pre-produced content while the idols are on duty, the inactivity will be approximately one year.

The Korean Ministry of National Defense passed a revision to the law in December 2020 to allow high-profile profit-making artists like BTS to defer their military enlistment. Now, the eldest member, Jin, can postpone his enlistment until 2022. The news and brief messages from Big Hit Music immediately became a hot topic among fans.
