Sputnik is live from the International Space Station as NASA astronaut Shannon Walker is handing over the command to her colleague from the Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA), Akihiko Hoshide.
The other members of the new crew set to replace the current team are NASA's Shane Kimbrough and Megan McArthur, and European Space Agency (ESA) astronaut Thomas Pesquet.
After the ceremony, the outgoing crew is expected to give their farewell remarks.
