According to some reports, police officers and drug dealers exchanged fire in the metro station.

At least 25 people have been killed in a shooting in Rio de Janeiro’s Jacarezinho station, local media reports say.

According to media reports, the shooting happened during an anti-drug operation by police.

Videos allegedly showing the operation, as well as the aftermath of the shooting, have been shared online.

According to G1 website, one police officer and 22 suspects were gunned down in an altercation in the subway of Rio de Janeiro. Two train passengers and two police officers were injured in this gunfight, it added.
