The former leader of popular K-Pop boy band iKon, who ended his exclusive contract with YG Entertainment in 2019 after having being involved in a drug scandal and later cleared of all charges, is finally ready for his first studio album named “Waterfall”. The new material is set to be released on 1 June and the talented producer and songwriter has already been creating a stir among his starved fans with an emotional film on 20 May.
B.I (real name Kim Han-bin) has already released some songs and collaborations - for example with hip-hop group Epik High, and “Got It Like That” with Destiny Rogers and Tyla Yaweh - which were released on 14 May.
Fans warmly welcomed the releases while Han-bin has been labouring hard to revive his image after the drug charge, through countless deeds of charity. Now his supporters have their own official name “ID (BE IDENTITY)”.
