Over 15 passengers are missing after a vessel sank off the coast of southeastern Liberia, the country's coast guard reported on 18 July. Liberian media previously reported that 21 people were aboard the vessel. Following the incident, a coastguard official held a press conference in the Liberian capital Monrovia and stated that the shipwreck had occurred at night on 17-18 July.
