MOSCOW (Sputnik) - Ugandan runner Joshua Cheptegei won the men's 5,000-meter race at Tokyo Olympics on Friday and grabbed the gold medal.
The athlete brought the second gold for Uganda after Peruth Chemutai previously won the women's 3000m steeplechase race.
Mohammed Ahmed of Canada finished second, and US runner Paul Chelimo took the bronze.
