18:47 GMT 30.08.2021 (Updated: 19:50 GMT 30.08.2021) MOSCOW (Sputnik) - Militants of the Taliban* movement attacked an outpost in the Afghan province of Panjshir, the last remaining hotbed of resistance in the country, the Tolo News reported, citing a source close to the resistance.
According to the source, the resistance forces repelled the attack. The clashes continue.
On Sunday, the Taliban gave еhe resistance forces, led by Ahmad Massoud, a 4-hour ultimatum to capitulate. The 32-year-old responded that his forces and Panjshir residents would not surrender.
