09:48 GMT 04.09.2021 (Updated: 10:15 GMT 04.09.2021) KABUL (Sputnik) - The Taliban shot in the air and fired tear gas at female activists in the Afghan capital to disperse a demonstration in support of women's rights, a Sputnik correspondent reported on Saturday.
The demonstration took place near the presidential palace in Kabul.
Afghanistan's TOLOnews agency published a video that shows the Taliban forces preventing women from continuing the protest.
"...The protesters say the violence began after Taliban forces prevented them from marching to the presidential palace. According to them, the Taliban used tear gas to prevent further protests."
