The light plane left Essex County Airport in Caldwell, New Jersey, on what should have been a routine trip to Sussex Airport but was reported missing, media reported. A Friday release issued by Blue Origin via Twitter underscores the devastation felt across the company for the sudden loss.
"He brought so much life and energy to the entire Blue Origin team and to his fellow crewmates. His passion for aviation, his charitable work, and his dedication to his craft will long be revered and admired."
