The Belarusian leader has rejected the accusations, saying that his cash-strapped country can no longer afford tight border controls.

00:52 GMT 14.11.2021 (Updated: 17:14 GMT 12.04.2023) BRUSSELS (Sputnik) - EU foreign policy chief Josep Borrell has discussed the situation on the Belarusian-Polish border with the foreign ministers of Poland and Lithuania and the issue will also be brought up at the EU Foreign Affairs Council (FAC) next week.
