Russian forces and the Donbass militias continue to advance in Ukraine amid the special operation launched by Moscow on 24 February. President Vladimir Putin stressed that the operation was started to stop the eight-year-long war in the region, adding that Russia's goal is the demilitarisation and denazification of Ukraine.

Iranian Embassy in Ukraine Temporarily Moving to Moldova - Ambassador
Iranian Ambassador to Ukraine Manouchehr Moradi said Iran's Embassy in Kiev is temporarily moving to Chisinau.

"Given the impossibility of carrying out the activities of the embassy in the city of Kiev, we decided on temporary location in the city of Chisinau - the capital of Moldova. This choice was made due to the fact that the country is close to Ukraine, and also due to the fact that the ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Ukraine is the ambassador to Moldova," Moradi said in a video message posted by the embassy on Facebook.

The ambassador said the mission will continue to work with Iranians in Ukraine to solve their problems in connection with the situation in the country.

At the same time, answering a lawmaker's question regarding Tokyo's position on the issue of territories and the peace treaty, Kishida said it has not changed.

"But, as I said before, in light of the events in Ukraine, a dialogue with the Russian Federation is now impossible," he said.

Russian Media Watchdog Restricts Access to Euronews Broadcaster
Russian media regulator Roskomnadzor restricted access to the website of French television news network Euronews on Monday due to what considered to be fake news about Russia's military operation in Ukraine.

The regulator added the news network's website to the registry of websites with limited access at the request of the Russian Prosecutor General's Office. However, the presence of the website in the registry does not mean a complete ban, since access can be restricted to individual webpages only.

Earlier in March, Roskomnadzor blocked Euroradio, Caucasian Knot (the founder of this news site is recognized as a foreign agent in Russia), Novye Izvestia newspaper, Bellingcat investigative organization (listed as a foreign agent in Russia), Channel Nine and Postimees.
