Head of the Russian Roscosmos state corporation, Dmitry Rogozin has warned SpaceX CEO Elon Musk that he will be held accountable eventually for allegedly supplying Starlink internet terminals to the Ukrainian military.Rogozin said that according to Russian intelligence obtained from a captured commander of the 36th Ukrainian Marine Brigade, the US Pentagon delivered the Starlink terminals directly to Ukraine's Armed Forces. It was later distributed to the troops in Mariupol, including the fighters of the neo-Nazi battalion Azov.Musk stated back in March that he'd delivered a number of Starlink internet terminals to Ukraine, where some regions experienced problems with internet connectivity following the start of the Russian special military operation in the country.Later on, the SpaceX CEO shared that several unnamed governments (not Kiev) asked him to block access to Russian news sources for the Starlink terminals in Ukraine. However, Musk refused to do so unless at "gunpoint", citing his stance as a "free speech absolutist".Russia launched the special military operation in Ukraine on 24 February responding to a request for assistance from the Donetsk and Lugansk People's Republics (DPR and LPR), which reported intensified shelling from Ukrainian forces at the time. President Vladimir Putin said that Russia "was forced" to start the operation to help the people of Donbass.Let's stay in touch no matter what! Elon Musk Accountable for Starlink Supplies to Ukraine's Neo-Nazis, Russian Roscosmos Chief Says
13:41 GMT 08.05.2022 (Updated: 20:13 GMT 19.10.2022) The US business mogul previously boasted sending Starlink internet terminals to Ukraine, where internet connectivity is at times down due to ongoing hostilities there. Starlink relies on low-Earth orbit satellites launched by SpaceX to provide global web access on the ground.
Head of the Russian Roscosmos state corporation, Dmitry Rogozin
has warned SpaceX CEO Elon Musk that he will be held accountable eventually for allegedly supplying Starlink internet terminals to the Ukrainian military.
Rogozin said that according to Russian intelligence obtained from a captured commander of the 36th Ukrainian Marine Brigade, the US Pentagon delivered the Starlink terminals directly to Ukraine's Armed Forces. It was later distributed to the troops in Mariupol, including the fighters of the neo-Nazi battalion Azov.
"Elon Musk is thus involved in supplying the fascist forces in Ukraine with military communications. For that, Elon, you will be held accountable, no matter how hard you play fool," Rogozin wrote in his Telegram channel.
Musk stated back in March that he'd delivered a number of Starlink internet terminals to Ukraine, where some regions experienced problems with internet connectivity following the start of the Russian special military operation in the country.
Later on, the SpaceX CEO shared that several unnamed governments (not Kiev) asked him to block access to Russian news sources for the Starlink terminals in Ukraine. However, Musk refused to do so
unless at "gunpoint", citing his stance as a "free speech absolutist".
Russia launched the special military operation in Ukraine on 24 February responding to a request for assistance from the Donetsk and Lugansk People's Republics (DPR and LPR), which reported intensified shelling from Ukrainian forces at the time. President Vladimir Putin said that Russia "was forced" to start the operation to help the people of Donbass.
