12:06 GMT 13.05.2022 (Updated: 16:46 GMT 08.01.2023) According to Al-Ikhbariya broadcaster, the incident occurred on Friday morning, with attackers targeting an army bus.
"Terrorists… fired an anti-tank missile at an army bus west of Aleppo near Anjar. Ten servicemen were killed, and nine more were injured", the broadcaster said, citing a military source.
So far, no group has claimed responsibility for the attack against the troops. This terror attack becomes one of the deadliest incident in the country in years.
