"The positive dynamics in trade with key partner-nations, which are located along the north-south transport corridor, is an occasion to take advantage of the situation and involve regulators of all interested countries in order to remove barriers that prevent them from making use of the unique advantages of this logistics route," Georgievsky said during the Russia-Islamic World: Kazansummit 2022 XIII International Economic Summit. His comments came during the North-South International Transport Corridor: Trade, Logistics, Investments. New Opportunities and Prospects in the New World session. In his opinion, it is important to solve three issues in relations with partners. The first is logistical connectivity, so that it is convenient for businesses to use transport corridors where there are multiple border crossings, complete railway construction and few bureaucratic barriers. The second is the connectivity of the financial system, since any trade must be supported by fast and efficient payments and financial instruments. The third involved interaction with partners.

Russia's Trade Turnover With India, Iran, Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan Increasing
19:50 GMT 19.05.2022 (Updated: 18:25 GMT 31.05.2022) Moscow's trade turnover with India, Iran, Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan continues to grow at an impressive pace, despite the difficulties in international relations, Stanislav Georgievsky, vice president of the Russian Export Center (REC), has said.
"In order to remove barriers in trade relations, it is necessary to conduct substantive negotiations. And the Russian Export Center is actively working in this direction: we have a Russian-Iranian platform, we are planning events in India, and we are working with colleagues from Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan. Solutions of all these issues will help increase Russian exports and make the north-south logistics corridor even more popular and efficient,” the REC vice president believes.
