Harper's Bazaar, the first lady explained that when her husband was vice president, the couple opted to settle their differences through text to avoid fighting in front of their Secret Service personnel.
"You realize that's going to go down in history. There will be a record of that," the now-president reportedly told her when she texted him in a fit of anger. However, Jill told the outlet that she "won’t tell you what I called him that time."
Presidential correspondence and other records are kept on file for historical purposes.
