On Tuesday, UK Health Secretary Sajid Javid and Chancellor of the Exchequer Rishi Sunak tendered their resignations.
The ministerial resignations that began on Tuesday continued on Wednesday, with four more ministers leaving their posts.
UK Minister for Children and Families William Quince, Laura Trott, junior transport minister, Treasury Minister John Glen, and Robin Walker, MP for Worcester and a junior minister in the UK resigned on Wednesday over a recent scandal concerning the appointment of Christopher Pincher as deputy chief whip.
Last week, Pincher resigned after being accused of sexual misconduct in a London private members’ club. A number of politicians claimed that Johnson appointed Pincher to the post of deputy chief whip despite knowing about previous investigations.

Only 1 Conservative at 1922 Committee Backed Johnson
Only one out of 150 Conservative backbenchers who showed up for the 1922 Committee meeting on Wednesday supported embattled UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson, British media said.
A Conservative lawmaker who was present at the gathering told Sky News that Daniel Kawczynski was the only one to make a "positive intervention" for the prime minister.
The 1922 Committee is set to elect a new executive on Monday to decide on whether it should change rules to allow a fresh vote of no confidence on Johnson. Current rules permit only one such vote a year, and the prime minister survived one in June.

UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson has told members of his cabinet that he will not resign as this may result in political instability, The Times reported on Wednesday.

According to the newspaper, Johnson is determined to keep his job. At the same time, a group of ministers who were loyal to the prime minister reportedly called on him to resign.

Almost 30 UK government officials, including key figures like UK Health Secretary Sajid Javid and Chancellor of the Exchequer Rishi Sunak, have already submitted their resignations over the recent scandal involving former deputy chief whip Christopher Pincher.

The UK Conservative Private Members' Committee will elect a new executive on Monday, a move that will allow it to change rules the same night to bring forth a confidence vote in the prime minister, British media said.
Boris Johnson has been under mounting pressure to resign after Downing Street admitted he had known about sexual abuse allegations against Chris Pincher before naming him deputy chief whip in February.
A lawmaker has denied reports that the vote on whether to reduce Johnson's immunity from a leadership challenge will take place this week, Sky News said. Johnson survived a no confidence vote in May and is protected from a new one for a year under current rules.
