The Islamic Republic has held major drills across the country, in the Persian Gulf and the Sea of Oman, featuring all four branches of the Iranian military and at least 150 advanced UAVs. According to authorities, the conditions are the closest to real battle conditions, with jamming devices, air defenses and "electronic warfare" capabilities also being tested during the exercises.
Last month, Tehran demonstrated its UAVs, showing a clip of a submarine and surface ships operating in combat, surveillance, and drones. The exercise was held amid Joe Biden's visit to the Middle East.
