The Eastern Economic Forum (EEF) is taking place in Russia’s Vladivostok on September 5-8, 2022. President Putin established the forum in 2015 to boost investments into Russia’s Far Eastern regions. Over 4,000 participants are expected to visit this year’s event, attending over 70 business events.

President Vladimir Putin will deliver a speech at the plenary session on September 7, and discuss the development of the Russian Far East with the event's organizers.
The annual Eastern Economic Forum (EEF), one of the biggest business-oriented conferences, kicks off in the Russian city of Vladivostok.
This year the seventh EEF is expected to attract 4,000 people from at least 40 countries to discuss the emerging multipolar world order, economy of the Arctic region and the Far East, an industrial response to anti-Russia sanctions and many other crucial topics, as moderators will host over 140 hours of various sessions.

Russia Will Provide Resources to Friendly Countries if the G7 Sets a Ceiling on Oil and Gas Prices
On Tuesday, at the Eastern Economic Forum, Russian Energy Minister Nikolai Shulginov announced to reporters Russia will supply energy resources to friendly states and redirect supplies to the East if the countries of the Group of Seven (G7) set a price ceiling for oil and gas from the Russian Federation.

"Any actions, including setting a price ceiling [for oil and gas], create conditions for a shortage at home, and also increase price volatility. Russia, as a reliable partner, will provide partners in friendly countries with energy resources and saturate the domestic market, of course," the minister said.

The Eastern Economic Forum (EEF) in Vladivostok in Russia's Far East is being attended by guests from 68 countries, including the United States, Japan, and European states, Russian Deputy Prime Minister and presidential envoy in the Far Eastern Federal District Yury Trutnev said.
"A total of 68 countries are already participating in the forum, and not only those close to the Far East, these are Australia, Austria, Great Britain, the USA, Germany, France, Switzerland, Japan, Ireland, Italy," Trutnev said at a Valdai Discussion Club session.
"This suggests that, despite a significantly changed structure of the world, nevertheless, we are interesting to each other. We have a chance for understanding," he said.

Kazakhstan Will Not Send Delegation to Russia's Eastern Economic Forum - Kremlin
MOSCOW (Sputnik) - There will be no official delegation from Kazakhstan at the Eastern Economic Forum (EEF), but Russian President Vladimir Putin is scheduled to have other international meetings, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said on Monday.

"Kazakhstan will not send an official delegation [to the EEF]. There will be international meetings. On the final day [of the EEF], September 7, the president will have many international meetings," Peskov told journalists.

The train from Vladivostok to Moscow is supposed to cross the country in a week, with pictures reminding people about protecting the environment to save the magnificent feline species.
