IAEA Says Zaporozhye NPP Re-Connected to Ukrainian Power Grid
Zaporozhye nuclear power plant has been reconnected to the Ukrainian national grid after relying on generators and backup lines for energy supply for nearly a week, the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) said on Saturday.
"Ukraine's Zaporizhzhya Nuclear Power Plant (ZNPP) is once again receiving electricity directly from the national grid after engineers repaired one of the four main external power lines that have all been damaged during the conflict," the IAEA said in a statement.
