I'll Have a One Night Stand: Vegan Cafe in Brooklyn Raises Eyebrows Over Provocative Menu Items

Slutty Vegan is a plant-based burger chain founded in Atlanta, Georgia. At the end of last month, the provocatively named fast-food chain had its grand opening in Brooklyn, New York.
On 28 September, a huge crowd gathered along Fulton Street in Brooklyn at the entrance of the newly opened vegan burger chain, Slutty Vegan.
Passers-by were treated to all sorts of blatant statements which one wouldn't ordinarily have expected to overhear outside a burger joint.
“I want a One Night Stand,” one of the visitors was reported to have said while another claimed that she wanted a “Hollywood Hooker”. These, it turned out, were the names of burgers.

Furthermore, when a visitor enters Slutty Vegan for the first time, the cry goes up from the staff, “We’ve got a virgin in the building!”
A wide selection of menu options varying from the Ménage à Trois (a burger loaded with vegan bacon, shrimp, cheese and the house’s signature Slut Sauce) to banana pudding served in a paper cup named Happy Ending has sparked outrage among some parents who had some awkward explaining to do when their children asked them what the burger names meant.
Slutty Vegan in Brooklyn is the chain’s seventh location: there are already five in Georgia and one in Birmingham, Alabama, which opened in early September 2022.
The business, now worth $100Mln, is owned by Aisha 'Pinky' Cole who started the vegan fast-food business in 2018.
