
"Besides sending today relevant official notification to @antonioguterres we also called for the UN Security Council meeting on Monday 31 October to discuss Ukrainian attack that caused suspension of our participation in #graindeal," Polyansky tweeted.
"Against the backdrop of this attack by the Ukrainian Armed Forces Russia can not guarantee safety of civilian ships travelling under the abovementioned Initiative. Therefore, starting as of today, the Russian side suspends the Initiative for an indefinite term," the letter signed by Russia's permanent representative to the United Nations Vassily Nebenzia read.
"The Kiev regime is continuing to prove its barbaric and criminal nature. Attempting to paralyze the operation of the ZNPP, it began to threaten the NPP's employees with prison and reprisals," Rogov said.
"Last night, an attempt was made by Ukrainian troops to land on the left bank of the Dnieper River in Enerhodar near the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant. The attempt was prevented. The enemy suffered losses and retreated," Rogov said.
"Today, starting at 04:30 [01:30 GMT] in the morning, for several hours, various air defense systems in Sevastopol repelled attacks by drones. All drones were shot down. As for the current situation, in addition to UAVs, our military, according to preliminary information, destroyed a surface drone in the water area," Razvozhayev said on Telegram.
