A two-day farewell for Pele started on January 2 at Santos’ home stadium Urbano Caldeira, also known as Vila Belmiro, in Sao Paulo, Brazil. The football legend's coffin was placed on the pitch, allowing everyone to pay their respects to the three-time World Cup winner.Pele died on December 29 after a long battle with colon cancer.
