"We see great support and solidarity from the international community. Some 100 countries have offered assistance, and there are currently 76 teams and 7,606 personnel on the ground. Two more countries will send teams, 712 people will arrive," Cavusoglu told a briefing with his counterpart from Bosnia and Herzegovina Elmedin Konakovic in Ankara.

Cavusoglu noted that some rescue teams have already completed their missions and returned back to their countries.

"Some want to continue working elsewhere, some are returning home. Twelve search and rescue teams have completed their missions and returned [to their countries]," Cavusoglu added.

Armenia has sent a second batch of humanitarian aid to earthquake-affected Turkey across the closed land border, Armenian Foreign Ministry spokesman Vahan Hunanyan said on Wednesday.

"Armenia continues sending humanitarian aid to earthquake-affected regions. Late last night, trucks loaded with the second batch of humanitarian aid crossed the Armenian-Turkish border through the Margara bridge," Hunanyan said on Twitter.

On February 6, parts of Turkey and Syria were hit by a series of powerful earthquakes and aftershocks. The death toll from the devastating earthquakes in Turkey exceeded 35,000. In Syria, the World Health Organization has estimated the number of casualties at 8,500, while the Syrian Health Ministry said the death toll in the government-controlled areas topped 1,414 people.

On February 11, Yerevan sent the first convoy with humanitarian cargo to Turkey.

Borsa Istanbul, the stock exchange of Turkiye, resumed operations on Wednesday following a week-long break caused by the devastating earthquake in the country, a source told Sputnik.

Borsa Istanbul decided to temporarily stop trading on February 8.

"The stock exchange has resumed operations," the source said.

Japan will send the fourth group of medical personnel to Turkey on Wednesday to provide assistance after the earthquake in the southeast of the country, the Japanese Foreign Ministry said.

The first group of Japanese rescuers was sent to Turkey on February 6, and on February 10, Tokyo sent the first group of medical personnel. The second and third groups of specialists went to Turkey on Monday and Tuesday, respectively. Japan also sent a transport plane with medical equipment. At the moment, 41 Japanese medical specialists are working in the country.

"February 14 and … February 15, the Government of Japan will conduct the 3rd and 4th dispatches of members of the Japan Disaster Relief Expert and Medical Team in response to the damages caused by the earthquake that occurred in the southeastern part of Turkey," the ministry said on Tuesday, adding that in total, Japan plans to send about 75 specialists to Turkey.

Maj. Gen. Oleg Yegorov, deputy head of the Russian Defense Ministry's Center for Reconciliation of Opposing Sides in Syria, said at a briefing that he was waiting for Turkey's reaction on the issue of ensuring the security of humanitarian convoys to help residents of the Idlib de-escalation zone and the northern part of Aleppo province.

"We are waiting for the reaction of the Turkish side on the issue of ensuring the security of humanitarian convoys to provide assistance to residents of the Idlib de-escalation zone and northern areas of Aleppo province," Maj. Gen. Yegorov said.

He said that after the February 6 earthquake in Turkey and Syria, medical assistance was provided to 368 Syrian citizens, 280 doses of donated blood were taken, and 73.2 tonnes of humanitarian aid was distributed in the provinces of Latakia, Aleppo and Hama.
